Master Thesis for the startup company Quint Biotech/Mole Genetics that developed a bench-top automated DNA extracting system. Until GeneMole only top labs had the funding to finance automated DNA purification systems. With an entry level price of EUR 9,500 it was designed to bring automated DNA purification systems within the range of all research teams. The product was launched under the name LabCube but later changed name to GeneMole.
